President Biden pre-emptively pardons the "selfless public servants" who many believe launched a soft coup of President Trump in his first term, and Dr. Fauci who championed the gain of function technology that led to the creation of COVID-19.
It's not the first time a President has issued a pre-emptive pardon. President Ford pardoned President Nixon in 1974 for any charges of criminality committed during his Presidency. Similarly, President Carter issued a preemptive pardon in 1977 for Vietnam-era draft dodgers.
What sets Biden's pardons apart is none of these characters have been convicted of a crime or even charged. Which begs the question, "If these are selfless public servants, why would Biden feel the need to shield them from potential prosecution?"
Biden also received bipartisan outrage when he pardoned his son, Hunter Biden right before he was scheduled to be sentenced to prison.
Still, Republicans promise to continue their investigation of the pre-planning for Jan 6, and the Jan 6 Committee. Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) posted: “Mark Milley might be pardoned but we will continue to explore ways to hold him accountable.”

UPDATE*** 15 minutes before President Trump was sworn into office, Joe Biden preemptively pardons his family members who helped run his international family business that raked in millions from China, Russia, Ukraine, as well as many other nations.
FROM BREITBART NEWS
President Joe Biden grants clemency to family members deeply involved in the Biden family business, including brothers James and Frank Biden.
Receiving clemency raises questions about potential wrongdoing.
“My family has been subjected to unrelenting attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me — the worst kind of partisan politics,” Biden wrote in a statement. “Unfortunately, I have no reason to believe these attacks will end.”
“That is why I am exercising my power under the Constitution to pardon James B. Biden, Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John T. Owens, and Francis W. Biden,” he added. “The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that they engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense.”
