During a rally at Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, President Trump shared an interesting idea on Saturday. He floated the possibility of redirecting nearly 90,000 new IRS agents to the southern border. This comes just days after he announced an indefinite hiring freeze on the agency.

Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd, Trump said the IRS had been gearing up to bring on 88,000 employees, funded by $72 billion allocated through the Inflation Reduction Act. President Trump has other plans for them.

“They wanted to hire all these workers to come after you,” he said, adding that he’s working on a plan to either let them go or give them a whole new assignment. “Maybe we’ll move them to the border,” he proposed, noting that these agents are already authorized to carry firearms.

Trump joked that their experience with guns might make them a good fit for border security. “We’ll probably move them to the border,” he added.

Should we notice the glaring contrast between Biden and Trump? Where President Biden bragged about hiring 88,000 IRS agents to go after Americans for 'not paying their fair share,' President Trump brags about using IRS agents to protect Americans from the foreign terrorist, drug cartels, gangs, and criminals that were flooding in our country because of Joe Biden's open border policies.
