French President Macron snuck into the White House yesterday in an unannounced visit with President Trump. Normally, a U.S. President would greet another nation's leader at the door. But in this case, it appears, President Trump was sending a message to Macron and the world - the United States has had enough It's time to bring the Ukraine War to an end.

You may remember that the Biden-Harris administration's exit strategy was...literally, I'm quoting, "As long as it takes."

President Trump campaigned on ending the war. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and National Security Advisor Mike Walz reiterated over the weekend that there will be no US troops in Ukraine. Even more, they do not support Ukraine becoming a member of NATO. A move that would immediately put the United States into a hot war with Russia.

National Security Advisor Mike Waltz told FOX News, "I do not see the United States having Ukraine enter into NATO and then having United States troops... coming directly in for the defense of Ukraine. That is very different than the U.S. commitment to NATO and existing NATO countries."

France's Macron had earlier insulted President Trump saying, "You can’t be weak in the face of President Putin. It’s not you, it’s not your trademark, it’s not in your interest," Macron said last week ahead of the meeting. "How can you then be credible in the face of China if you’re weak in the face of Putin?'"

And that is likely why President Trump had Macron sneak in the back door with no fan fare.
