On Tuesday, President Trump proposed that the United States consider taking over Gaza and rebuilding it into a new "Riviera of the Middle East." The response suggests a lack of out-of-the-box thinking regarding the catastrophic failure of the Gaza Strip.

During the news conference, Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu’s expression suggested he was still processing the bold proposal.

Many Christians are equally intrigued, and shocked by the idea of the United States taking responsibility for a tiny strip of land that was established by the 1949 Armistice Agreement following the 1948 Israeli War of Independence.

Before the Israel-Hamas war, approximately 2.3 million Palestinians lived in what was once the most densely populated area on the planet. Today, Gaza has been described as a demolition site. President Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, estimated it could take ten years to make it habitable again.

Do something different. Just can't go back. If you go back, it's going to end up the same way it has for 100 years," he declared
