Kamala Harris ran a prevent defense before she even scored a touchdown. She lost because she tried to run a blank slate campaign behind the safety of the sycophant legacy media. She took for granted her own voters expecting them to behave like voting slaves on election night. Even a novice football fan could see the loss coming.
This arrogance was no less apparent in how she treated young adult men. The voters don't come to you. You go to the voters. River Page of The Free Press has a great article comparing Hillary Clinton's ill-fated decision not to visit Wisconsin in the closing week of the election in 2016 to Kamala Harris' decision not to reach out to young men.
Meanwhile, Trump's Podcast Offensive Worked.
Harris’s refusal to go on Rogan, on his terms, might very well be the equivalent of Hillary Clinton not going to Wisconsin in 2016. Harris’s unwillingness to sit for a three-hour podcast with Rogan speaks to an extreme lack of confidence in her ability to speak in anything but scripted sound bites.
In their appearances, both Vance and Trump always seemed casual and relaxed, letting conversations wax and wane. Viewers got to see a side of the candidates that they never would have in a tight segment on 60 Minutes or a quick hit between reverse-mortgage commercials on Fox News.
Von, a recovering addict, got Trump to speak sincerely about his brother’s struggles with alcoholism, as well as his thoughts on boxing. It didn’t feel like an interview with the president. It felt like an episode on the Theo Von show—a sign of respect for both the comedian and his young male audience.
Trump appears to have won low-propensity male voters winning a larger proportion of voters under 30 than any Republican presidential candidate since 2008.
Imagine, a 78-year-old grandfather leveraged the emerging digital technology of podcasts to make the greatest political comeback in U.S. history.
