New York District Attorney, Alvin Bragg's DAs are trying to prevent eyewitnesses from describing Mr. Penny as a "hero" and "good Samaritan" even though those are the exact words and perception they had of his actions. In May of 2023, Mr. Penny was filmed subduing Jordan Neely, a homeless man acting violent towards other people riding the subway. Neely later died, and Bragg wants to put Mr. Penny in prison for manslaughter and negligent homicide.
This is yet another case illustrating how Democrat District Attorneys have flipped our justice system upside down. In their mind, the criminal is the victim, and the victim is the offender. Does it remind you of this verse? Isaiah 5:20 "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."

Prosecutors from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office are reportedly asking the judge overseeing Daniel Penny's trial to not let witnesses call the U.S. Marine Corps veteran a "good Samaritan" or a "hero" in court, as jury selection is underway.
Yoran said the Democrat DA's office was worried that the defense might try to prompt witnesses to assess whether Penny's actions that day were warranted. Bragg's underling then asserted that witnesses shouldn't be allowed to use the terms "good Samaritan" and "hero" to describe Penny, arguing that they're subjective phrasing based on opinion.
"A witness's characterization of the defendant [as] a hero, for example, is the equivalent of a determination that the [defendant] was justified," Yoran wrote.
