JILLIAN MICHAELS: You had quite a reaction to Joe Scarborough going to see President Trump. I was crying, laughing in bed last night watching you.

MEGYN KELLY: Such a grifter.

MICHAELS: I'm wondering though, Megyn, if we don't allow for some grace. No, we don't.

KELLY: No, we don't. Stop it right now.

MICHAELS: But how do you bridge the divide?

KELLY: We don't. We don't need to.

MICHAELS: We don't.

KELLY: He's a dishonest broker. He's a liar. He spent the past four years, beyond eight, telling us that Trump is a uniquely awful person, racist, sexist pig, fascist Nazi Hitler.

You don't negotiate with that. You don't make up with that. That's not somebody who was like, I didn't like Trump, but I'm willing to try.

That's a dishonest, bad actor whose voice should be excised from the conversation, not propped up, not listened to, not made easier or more robust by access to the now sitting president or about to be. No, nothing good is gained by Trump and Joe Scarborough having to come to Jesus. The only point in Scarborough doing it is his ratings are in the toilet.

They are circling the bowl right now. He's feeling desperate that his multimillion dollar contract is going to evaporate along with that of his wife. And they'll do anything to try to save their own careers.

I mean, I've been watching them, Jillian. I watch all in media very closely along with my team. And he is the one who was out there saying, the best Joe Biden ever, the best ever.

Two months before he imploded on that debate stage, he lied over and over and over because it was important to him to have access. Biden watched Morning Joe. He wanted to be in this power-broking position.

And so he lied to cover for the guy. Then Kamala got on board. He started lying about her, telling us what an amazing candidate she was and how inspirational.

I mean, we just couldn't be honest about any of her weaknesses, the lies about Trump. None of that should be rewarded with access to Trump. And by the way, it pleases no one.

His audience doesn't want to see it because he's made them hate Trump with a passion. And the right doesn't want to see it because we've been watching Scarborough and already hate him with a passion. So the only reason to do it is to try to jack up numbers because he thinks there'll be some sort of hate watching or curiosity watching if he manages to get Trump on there or report something about Trump that's new.

And I don't think there's anyone in the mood to save his career right now.

(Cont'd) I tried for years to be open-minded, to listen to them, to, you know, okay, I'll do a little self-flagellation if that's what I need to do in order to like have a conversation about the things that matter. There's no doing that. One of us is going to have to bend the knee and it's going to be them, not me, when it comes to women's issues or the protection of children or the things that are really important to me.

It's just, it's a rhetorical war and I intend to win. So there's no working with people like that. That doesn't mean that when I have a dinner with a friend who may share some of these beliefs, we're going to throw down over it.

I'm usually going to avoid it. And my closest friends will avoid it with me too. There can still be friendship and love.

But when it comes to these core issues that are really important, there is no compromise

Many Christians, Republicans, Independents, and moderate liberals are taking the position that compromise is no longer an option. Rather, after years of gas lighting, cancel culture, threats, lawfare, and even riots, the Left must "bend the knee."

This is a critical conversation that demands the engagement of Christians. Jesus said we should be known for our love. So, if we cannot bring the love and reconciliation of Christ to a bent and broken world, then we are not worth our salt.

Megyn Kelly explains the journey in an interview with Jillian Michaels that she believes there can still be friendship and love. But she will not compromise with people who are "dishonest brokers" who propagated the fear and hate in this country.
