Jonathan & Suzy Lamb Go Public About Daystar TV

Jonathan and Suzy Lamb have gone public to explain why he was fired from Daystar Television.

According to investigative reporter, Julie Roys, their account centers on allegations involving Jonathan and Suzy's 5-year-old daughter, who disclosed to them she had been molested by “Pete,” one of their male relatives.

The Lambs claim they informed Marcus and Joni Lamb, Jonathan's father and mother, of the allegations, but they dismissed their concerns, asserting Pete's innocence after an internal investigation.

Marcus then issued this warning. If Jonathan and JW continue to believe Pete was a pedophile, "they’d need to find another job."

Three months later, Marcus Lamb died unexpectedly, leaving the family to sort through grieving and financial matters.

In the months that followed, Daystar claims that Pete was cleared of any wrongdoing after an internal investigation.

Julie Roys writes: "Jonathan also noted that in 2022, both he and Suzy still believed that Debbie Leonhardt had cleared Pete. In 2023, when the couple learned otherwise, they took their daughter to a counselor, who then reported the suspected abuse to Texas Child Protective Services (CPS).

According to Jonathan and Suzy, CPS then reported the suspected abuse to Colleyville Police, who have since re-activated their previous investigation."

In November of 2023, the Daystar TV Board demanded that Jonathan sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or be removed from his position as vice president. Jonathan refused and was subsequently fired.

Daystar issued a statement in response, stating in part,

“There is clearly a misunderstanding of what transpired, and the facts are quite different than what appears to have been reported to you. We simply do not support (Jonathan and Suzy’s) false allegations and are saddened by the continued relational incongruity between Jonathan and Suzy and the rest of their family.”

Daystar also alleges in its statement that “this smear campaign is the sad result of Jonathan not being designated as the future President of Daystar” following his father’s death—something Jonathan emphatically denies.
