Former Skeptic Declares the Shroud of Turin Real Evidence of Christ’s Resurrection

Dr. Jeremiah J. Johnston, once doubtful of the Shroud of Turin’s authenticity, now believes it is genuine evidence of Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. The theologian and author of Peace of God Bible told CBN News that archaeology, history, and science all affirm the truth of Scripture. Johnston said the Shroud — containing human, Semitic, AB-type blood with no pigment or dye — is “the only artifact outside the Bible that gives evidence to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.” Once a critic, Johnston changed his mind after studying the research of more than 100 scientists, calling the relic “the greatest evangelism tool” he’s encountered and a tangible sign of God’s love revealed through Christ.
