Faith Leaders across the US pray over President Trump in Oval Office
The White House invited faith leaders from across the country to visit the Oval Office on Wednesday to pray for President Donald Trump and the nation.

WallBuilders founder David Barton, who was also with the faith leaders, wrote on X that it was “an honor” to pray for Trump at the White House. Barton’s company seeks to educate the nation on how the Bible played a pivotal role in the writings of the nation’s Founding Fathers.
Faith leaders from various parts of the country were welcomed to the White House on Wednesday to offer prayers for President Donald Trump and his leadership in the Oval Office.
The Trump administration shared a photo on X, showing the leaders standing around Trump as he remained seated at his desk.
Following the assassination attempt against Trump in July 2024, the then-presidential candidate credited God for saving his life and preventing “the unthinkable from happening.”
In his recent address to Congress, President Trump said he believes that "he was saved by God to make American great again. I believe that."
