Newly unsealed records tied to the Epstein case include a 2019 FBI interview summary in which former Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter recounts a 2006 phone call he says he received from Donald Trump during the first Epstein investigation. According to Reiter’s account, Trump praised law enforcement for “stopping” Epstein, said “everyone” had known what Epstein was doing, and urged investigators to “focus on” Ghislaine Maxwell—whom he described as Epstein’s “operative” and “evil.”
