Two years ago, revelations about Joe Biden's family allegedly attempting to profit from ties to communist China, receiving millions in payments, raised immediate concerns about what Beijing may have received in return. New findings uncovered by the U.S. House suggest that China might have exploited this period to carry out a large-scale espionage campaign under the previous administration.

The House Homeland Security Committee recently highlighted China’s growing surveillance efforts, revealing over 60 espionage incidents across 20 states during Biden’s time in office. These activities shed light on the extent of Beijing’s operations to acquire U.S. intellectual property and military technology.

Additionally, lawmakers confirmed that the Chinese spy balloon, which caused embarrassment for the Biden administration when it lingered over U.S. airspace for days, likely carried technology from several U.S. companies. This highlighted how Beijing may leverage U.S. connections for strategic advantage.

“There are still those who view China as an economic partner, but they are no longer that. They are an adversary,” said House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green in an interview with Just the News.
