Bluesky, Twitter Knock-off, Proves Progressivism Devolves into Cannibalism

After Elon Musk bought Twitter and rebranded it as X, a new social media platform called Bluesky was created as a left-leaning alternative. Now, with Donald Trump's re-election, even more Progressives are fleeing X in droves to find "safe" mental harbor. Unfortunately, Bluesky is rapidly devolving into an over-censored emotional pile-up of rage and ideological rigidity.

Why? Because Progressivism by its very nature, devours itself.

First, let me say, the intent of this article is to argue there's a better way by illustrating the absurdity of a life without God.

The political roots of today's Progressivism trace back to Woodrow Wilson and John Dewey. They essentially argued that America needs to move or “progress” beyond the principles of the American Founding.

But the spiritual roots of Progressivism reach as far back as the days of Cain and Abel and even the Garden of Eden. Cain killed Abel in anger because God accepted Abel's offering but rejected his. By devising his own way of worship, Cain rejected God's plan - and set the pattern for Progressivism's defiance ever since.

Stepping back further into the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were created with free will. They could go anywhere they wanted and partake of any food with the exception of one tree - the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God warned them that if they eat of it, they will surely die. They chose poorly.

The original sin was more than just eating a rotten apple, but the decision to do life on their own terms. The false promise of Satan was that they would "be like God, knowing good and evil." And humanity has paid the price for that choice ever since.

Because, if there is no God, then everyone is a god. And when the center of the universe is you, we witness a reverse Big Bang: everything collapses inward into chaos.

Dennis Prager put it simply: 'The entire purpose of progressivism is to make someone feel good about themselves.'

Two-thousand years ago, Paul offers an even sharper critique in Ephesians 4:18 (The Message)

"They’ve refused for so long to deal with God that they’ve lost touch not only with God but with reality itself."

And so, it should come as no surprise that the left-leaning Bluesky is devolving into cannibalism.

• (RedState) A new account has popped up on X called "LibsofBluesky" which has begun documenting all the wacky things the left is doing over at their new platform, and true to form, the occupants spend a lot of time cursing X, cursing Trump, cursing you, and of course, attacking each other. Like shaken bugs in a jar, the left are lashing out at whoever and whatever makes them angry, and when everything and everyone makes you angry, lashing out is normalcy.

  
  

  For instance, on the 15th, LibsfBluesky posted an update from Bluesky's safety account stating that it received over 42,000 reports for harmful content in 24 hours, coming out to 3,000 reports an hour.

Thankfully, there's a promise of a future platform where God himself will be with those who put their faith in Jesus as their Redeemer.
