Big Beautiful Bill Passes Congress - Employment Rate Down - Jobs Created Defies Critics

Just as new economic numbers show the economy beating the negative expectations, Congress passes the largest tax cut in American history. Unemployment dipped to 4.1%, and 147,000 new jobs were added despite dystopian predictions of doom because of DOGE cuts and the Liberation Day Tariff reforms.

For their part, the Democratic Party was united in opposition. Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries framed the Big Beautiful Bill as a vote against Christian "faith." Democrat Congressman, Jason Crow of Colorado told CNN he doesn't know if his constituents are "going to survive, literally survive, this." To my knowledge, not a single Democrat was ever asked if they supported the largest tax hike on the working class in history should the BBB not pass.

For the record, June and the 4th of July mark unprecedented accomplishments for the Trump administration.
