After Trump Admin Pulls Funding, Catholic Church USCCB Ends Illegal Migrant Program

U.S. Catholic bishops (USCCB) end decades-long migrant aid program after Trump funding cuts. Which raises intense moral questions. Were the USCCB funding migrant programs out of the goodness of their heart, or banking some of the money for themselves? Would Jesus want his church funding illegal immigration that exploits the poor, and involves 3 of 5 women and girls being raped, making drug cartels rich, allows terrorists into the nation, and then submits illegal migrants to a life of indentured servitude doing the jobs Americans don't want to do?

“A very sad day has dawned,” wrote Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, the president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, wrote in an April 8 op-ed in the Washington Post.

“The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) had to make the gut-wrenching decision this week to end our work with the federal government to resettle refugees and coordinate support services on the government’s behalf for unaccompanied children entering the United States. Our programs — among the nation’s largest and longest-serving refugee resettlement efforts — will shut down by the end of the fiscal year,” Broglio continued.
